Pair the child device

Create the child in the parent experience, then use the eight-character pairing code on the device running PARE Kids. Pairing connects that child profile to the household.

Treat the code like a short-lived sign-in credential. Enter it only on the child device you intend to pair.

Review a request

When a child encounters a video outside the approved space, they can send a request. The request appears for the parent to approve or deny.

Review the title, creator, and available preview context. Approval is a family judgment, not a PARE safety certification or a promise that a creator will never change.

Adjust the approved space

Parents can manage approved videos and channels, schedules, keyword controls, activity, pause state, and other per-child settings supported by the current product.

Revisit the approved space as the child, creator catalog, or family situation changes. A previous approval does not have to become a permanent rule.
