Confirm the item you are changing
Check the title and channel, and use Preview if you need to revisit the content. Similar titles can belong to different videos, so avoid editing from a thumbnail alone. Look at the current child checkboxes before making a change. A child’s age, interests, or household arrangement may have changed since the initial approval; the current assignment should reflect the parent’s present decision rather than remain unchanged simply because it was saved earlier.
Save the specific assignment
Select the intended children and choose Save child access on that video’s row. Wait for the saving state to finish and read the result. The interface warns when no children are selected because removing access for everyone uses the separate Revoke action. Do not navigate away while assuming a checkbox change saved automatically. If an error appears, keep the intended selection in mind and resolve the error before making further unrelated edits.
Verify the change on the relevant profiles
Reload the approved library to check the saved assignment, then review the connected PARE Kids experience for the affected children after refresh. Keep any channel-level access or other rules in mind when investigating unexpected availability. This action edits an individual video approval; it should not be described as a general block on a creator or a device-wide restriction. Explain the changed choice to the child when appropriate so the new library state has a clear family context.
