Prepare the profile details
Choose a display name the responsible caregivers can recognize without adding unnecessary personal information. The portal asks for a four-digit PIN and explains that it will not be shown again. Keep the PIN through the household’s appropriate private arrangement rather than placing it in a public note or screenshot. Do not use an existing sibling’s profile simply to avoid adding the intended child; separate profiles support the per-child choices the parent portal presents.
Read the notice in the form
The add-child screen explains the information PARE uses for the child app and parent controls and links to the complete parental notice and privacy policy. Read those materials before making the consent decision. Do not treat a prefilled field or a successful sign-in as a substitute for that step. If you have a privacy question that affects your decision, use the published support contact before adding the profile rather than entering speculative information to finish the form.
Verify the saved child and next step
After saving, confirm the child appears in Children Management with the intended name. If an error appears, resolve it rather than repeatedly submitting new profiles. You can use Edit for a correction and the documented PIN-reset path when needed. Pairing the child device is a separate step in PARE Parent. Before the first independent session, review approved content and the child’s settings so the saved profile is part of a clear household viewing plan.
