PARE Parent, the parent web portal, and every paired PARE Kids device work from the same household subscription.
The subscription is purchased and managed in PARE Parent through Apple. PARE Kids is a free companion download and has no purchase controls.

Can I use the web portal without subscribing?
No. You can sign in to check access, get support, sign out, or delete your account, but the household tools unlock only while PARE Family is active.
Does a child buy anything in PARE Kids?
No. PARE Kids has no price, checkout, external purchase link, or child-facing upgrade prompt. A parent starts or restores the plan in PARE Parent.
How do cancellation and renewal work?
Apple handles billing. The plan renews automatically unless canceled in Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Access continues through the paid period.
