Write the intended period plainly
For example, the household might choose one afternoon period on school days. Decide the actual times before editing, and check the timezone rather than accepting an unfamiliar default. This guide does not prescribe a universal amount of viewing. Use a schedule that reflects your family’s plan. Confirm the selected child because each profile has its own rules. If the child has not been added, complete that step before trying to create their schedule.
Add and save the window
Use Add window, select the intended days, and enter Allow after and until. A window’s ending is a cutoff, so do not describe the closing minute as another full viewing period. Choose Save schedule and wait for the saved result. If an existing bedtime cutoff from PARE Parent is shown, remember that it overrides later window endings. The web portal displays that cutoff for context; manage it in PARE Parent.
Check more than one moment
Verify the saved schedule by reopening it, then check the child’s PARE experience at an appropriate allowed and disallowed time. Use the actual connected device and read the message it shows. Do not assume a correct-looking editor proves every device has refreshed. Explain the opening and closing plan to the child in ordinary language. If the result differs from the saved rules, note the child profile, timezone, relevant day and time, and message for support without including private credentials.
