Understand the two roles
PARE Parent is for the caregiver who reviews requests and manages the household’s video choices. PARE Kids is for the child using the approved viewing space. The public guide library is a separate, freely readable resource about wider family technology questions. Reading an article about a game or messaging service does not mean PARE controls that service. Keep the product’s YouTube-oriented video workflow distinct from the broader editorial topics when deciding whether it fits your family’s need.
Confirm account and subscription access
Creating an account does not itself start a paid subscription or guarantee access to a native testing build. The household tools require active PARE Family access, with purchasing and restoration handled in PARE Parent through Apple. Use the current pricing page and the actual purchase screen for availability, storefront price, and eligibility details. Avoid creating another household simply because an existing account is showing an access screen; first check that you are signed in to the intended parent account.
Prepare a small first session
Add the intended child through the parent workflow, review the parental notice, and pair the child device using the current code shown in PARE Parent. Choose a small set of videos you have actually reviewed before inviting independent use. Try one ordinary request and confirm the result on the paired device. Keep the first session simple enough to understand. PARE records and applies parent decisions; it does not certify that every approved creator or video will suit every child.
