Confirm which credential needs changing

The child PIN is separate from the parent account password and the device pairing code. If the child is at a pairing prompt, resetting the PIN is not the same as generating a pairing code. Check the exact screen and message before changing anything. Select the correct child row in the parent portal, especially when several profiles have similar names. Avoid deleting and recreating a profile just because its PIN is not visible.

Make one deliberate edit

In Edit, enter the new four digits only when you intend to reset the PIN. If you are changing the display name alone, leave the optional PIN field blank. Keep the new value private and share it only through the household’s appropriate arrangement. Do not include it in a support request. Save the form and read any error before closing it; a typed value is not a saved change until the portal confirms the update.

Verify the intended sign-in step

Use the new PIN in the appropriate child sign-in flow with the caregiver present. If it does not work, confirm the child profile and the saved update rather than rapidly trying several guesses. Keep the parent password and pairing process out of this test unless the app specifically requires them for a separate reason. If the problem persists, contact support with the app and device details and the exact error, while leaving the PIN itself out of the message.
