Decide what the schedule should follow
A family may want a plan based on the child’s current home routine or may need to reconsider it for travel. Make that decision explicitly before editing times. The web field shows a timezone name, such as America/Chicago, rather than merely a clock offset. Check the intended value instead of accepting an unfamiliar default. Keep the timezone decision separate from choosing how much viewing fits the day; it determines how the saved clock times are interpreted.
Review the windows in that timezone
Read each opening and closing time as local time in the selected schedule timezone. Include any bedtime cutoff shown from PARE Parent. If you change the timezone, recheck the meaning of the whole schedule rather than assuming the same written hours still represent the same moment for the child. Save the change and reopen the schedule to confirm the stored value. If an error appears, resolve it before telling the child the new plan is active.
Verify the child’s experience
At a suitable time, check the connected PARE Kids device and compare the visible message with the intended schedule. Record the timezone, day, and clock time if you need support to investigate a mismatch. Do not include private credentials or pairing tokens. When returning from a trip or changing households, review the setting again if the family wants the schedule to follow a different routine. A correct-looking time field is useful context, but the saved timezone and actual device result complete the check.
