Start from the current state
Open Channels & child access and check whether you are viewing Allowed or Blocked. Confirm the creator’s identity before choosing an action. If only one child’s assignment should change, use Available to and Save child access on an allowed channel instead of removing it for everyone. If one individual video is the concern, inspect its approval separately. The most appropriate control depends on whether the decision concerns a child, an item, or the creator’s wider catalogue.
Read the removal consequence
The allowed-channel confirmation states that the channel and its currently approved videos will leave PARE Kids on refresh. That is more than hiding a creator card from the parent screen. The blocked-channel confirmation instead says the channel can be approved again after the block is removed. Do not confuse permission to consider a future approval with an approval already granted. Wait for the saved result and inspect any error before proceeding with another access change.
Review the resulting lists and child view
Refresh the relevant parent list and check the connected child device where appropriate. If you removed a block because you want to reconsider the creator, preview the content and make the new approval deliberately. Avoid automatically restoring a whole catalogue simply because the block is gone. Explain the current family decision to the child, including whether another request can be considered. These controls manage PARE’s access rules; they do not delete or alter the creator’s original YouTube channel.
