Check the child and current state
The Maximum volume area says whether a household cap is set. Confirm the selected child before enabling or changing it. If you are using Children Management instead, its Volume limit control offers another route for that child. Keep the decision connected to the actual viewing arrangement and hardware. Do not assume a value chosen for one device or accessory establishes an appropriate setting for every other listening situation.
Save the intended setting
Adjust the control through the portal and save the child settings where that screen requires it. Read the success or error state before navigating away. A slider moved on the screen is only a draft until the relevant save action succeeds. If you want to remove the cap, use Clear cap in Settings and save the change. Avoid repeatedly changing unrelated playback controls while trying to determine whether the volume setting itself was saved.
Verify the actual PARE experience
Check the paired child device while connected and refreshed, using an ordinary approved video and appropriate supervision. Confirm the setting behaves as intended in PARE rather than testing by increasing sound unnecessarily.
