Find and inspect the exact video
Use Search channels or videos and choose the relevant search type when helpful. Confirm the title, creator, and actual content through Preview before deciding. Searching YouTube can return material beyond the editorial shelves, so do not assume every result was selected by PARE’s editorial process. If you are only approving one video, keep that decision separate from Add channel, which is a broader creator-level action.
Check the child selection before approving
Look at the selected children on the Discover page and adjust the checkboxes to the intended recipients. If no child profiles exist, add the appropriate child first through the parent workflow. Avoid relying on a remembered selection from another session. Then choose Approve for the reviewed video and wait for the resulting status. If the portal reports an error, the click alone is not evidence that the approval was saved.
Confirm access in the library and child app
Open Approved videos to inspect the individual approval and its Available to selection. You can change that selection there with Save child access. Check the intended connected PARE Kids device after refresh, keeping schedules and pause state in mind. An approved item may still be affected by those separate controls or by the source video’s availability. If the result differs from your choice, describe the exact item and child selection to support without sharing private account details.
