Review the creator-level decision
A channel permission is broader than approving one video. Open the creator’s details and review the catalogue pattern relevant to your family before assigning access. Do not treat a familiar title or an editorial starting point as a guarantee about every upload. Consider the actual children who will receive the channel. Siblings can have different assignments without needing separate parent households or a blanket rule that every creator approved for one child belongs to all of them.
Save the intended recipients
Inspect the current checkboxes under Available to, adjust them, and choose Save child access for that channel. Wait for the result before leaving the page. An empty selection is not saved as a hidden no-access state; the portal directs you to remove the channel if nobody should have it. Read the removal confirmation if you take that route, because the current portal also removes existing individual approvals from that creator when the channel is removed.
Check the child experience after refresh
Reopen the allowed list to confirm the stored assignment and check the relevant connected PARE Kids profiles. Keep pause, schedules, and source availability separate when troubleshooting. If a child’s access does not match the saved selection, note the creator and profile involved for support without sending private credentials. Revisit channel assignments when the content or family decision changes. Saving a creator once is a household choice to review over time, not an independent certification that the creator will remain suitable.
