Build a responsive ShowMe video embed

Turn a ShowMe lesson link into responsive embed code and a standalone HTML file for a class site or family page.

Set up the lesson embed

Use a full ShowMe lesson link such as https://www.showme.com/sh/?h=LessonID. This generator does not download or copy the video.

Your responsive embed will appear here.

You will get copyable code and a standalone HTML file that keeps your title.

What the generator changes

The generator reads the lesson ID from a valid ShowMe URL, places it in ShowMe's HTTPS embed-player URL, adds an accessible iframe title, and wraps the player in a responsive frame. Width and aspect ratio are display assumptions you can edit before generating the result.

  1. Paste the full ShowMe lesson link and give the video a clear title.
  2. Choose a 320-1600 px maximum width and a 4:3 or 16:9 display frame.
  3. Generate the embed, then copy the snippet or download the standalone HTML page.

Common questions about ShowMe embeds

Does this tool download a ShowMe video?

No. It creates responsive embed code and a standalone HTML page from a ShowMe lesson link. ShowMe controls video access and its own download feature.

Will this make a private ShowMe lesson public?

No. The generated file keeps the direct lesson URL, but it does not change ShowMe permissions. Share a private lesson link only with the people who should receive it.

Does PARE upload the lesson or its link?

No. The generator runs in this browser. When someone opens the generated embed, their browser connects to ShowMe to load the lesson.
